Vetshooter, The AMD Ryzen Threadripper 1920X is a powerful processor. It is unlocked, and therefore overclockable. However, damage caused by Overclocking is not covered under warranty, so it is done at your own risk. As to the need to overclock, that is a personal decision, depending on what programs you are running, and if they performing acceptably, for you. You could also, over time, upgrade the processor or other aspects of the system, instead of overclocking. Properly installing a compatible component does not void the warranty or Free Lifetime Technical Support that we provide. Thank you again!
