A:AnswerYes original key fob will still work also you must keep the original one as usual because if not the vehicle computer won’t detect it and the car would not go no we’re so that been said you now would have 2 key fob the compustart what it gives you is just more range in order for you to have all the features there's add ons and add ons like if you want the alarm you got to buy it and add it on the 2 way remote is just to turn it on if you get the drone and pay for the subscription then you can do it thru the app from anywhere if the vehicle is outside if is in a garage it won’t turn it on that was the reason why I bout mine to turn my truck on from my apartment so when I get to the garage is ready and nope dint work for me I’m disappointed with compustar expensive for nothing the only reason for keeping it is because bestbuy had a nice deal on it and the guys who installed it are very kool ppl dint want to put them thru the mission of going back to them to take it off
A:AnswerI don’t know because I bought it for my vehicle and the installer wasent able to install it I had to return it then I called compustar told them the make and model and wich model compustar was that I purchased for my vehicle and they said that it is the one for my vehicle that how wasent the installer unable to install it don’t know if is something from factory or the installer wasent the right installer sorry but your best bet is call compustar if geek squad can give you an answer
A:AnswerI can't help with the Toyota factory auto start compatibility but with the drone mobile app connected to the Compustar auto start I can start my truck from anywhere with my phone and I can even use my Apple Watch to start the truck.
If I were you I'd find out if the factory Toyota auto start is compatible with drone mobile and just add that.
