From there you can add this module to it which will extend your remote start range with cellular. It is plug and play. The remote start harness is not plug and play. Will require pro install unless you know how to do that.

A:AnswerI have this installed on our vehicle. To do run time extension, press & hold the UNLOCK button for 2 1/2 seconds. You’ll hear the sound confirming success runtime extension/reset to the time set by the installler.
A:AnswerThe little one you might be referring to is the temp sensor that plugs into the brain, if its the actual antenna which is not really little, a bit bigger or the same size as the fob, that goes on your windshield at its highest point toward the center near the rear view mirror is the best spot. There is a blue light that flashes on the backside that will flash through your windshield. Pretty cool feature.
A:AnswerYes I was able to. Plug and play. Plugged it in, waited for about 2 minutes and then added it to my app. If not you can go to the dealer website and activate as a guest, no sign in needed, but I had no issue getting up and working.
