• A:Answer I am not sure. However, I suggest to purchase Best Buy’s Total Tech. If you do so, the installation should be free. For me having several vehicles in the family, it really pays for itself. Plus the assurance the installation is done professionally and correctly. If I have any issues I can take the vehicle back to Best Buy.

• A:Answer If you know what you are doing and are great at it then YES, BUT,..... I would highly recommend that you have it installed by the same people that installed the remote start. That way if you mess it up the warranty will be covered, if you make a mistake then the remote start will not be covered by the people that instaled it. I hope that helped with your decision.
