- Answer It does have Thermal Paste, enough for one application. I don't know what the PAD is you are referencing, The kit has everything you need to install either an AMD or Intel CPU

QuestionCan the fan be swapped out for another type?

- Answer Yes. Any 120mm fan will work with the standard screw holes where the bracket fits into. Make sure the fan works at a good RPM. You dont want to use a low RPM case fan or it won't cool well.
