This is just a keyboard. No mouse included. Some manufacturers have keyboards with a mouse pad built into them but at a cost. The back lighting on this keyboard can be adjusted to your fancy. It uses a usb to connect to the pc. With no 10 key it makes for easy transporting. Mine goes everywhere with me. With this being a mechanical keyboard it should have a long life and if you start wearing off the paint the keys are replaceable. Just a simple pop off and pop on replacement
