A:Answer Both will work, however I want to point out that plugging it in to your stand could cause some errors with the ICUE software, could cause your computer to not be able to identify the usb, and could also cause some problems with your OP's (operating System's) Audio Mixer. Also, plugging it in to the stand will most certainly add a lot of latency to the usb's signal, which would slow it down.
