• Just got mine on Cyber Monday and it is the new version with the upgraded extruder.

• Depends on which batch you get at the time but i was able to get in contact with creality to get the updated parts.

• I got the upgraded extruder. The k1 get shipped directly from Creality.

• OG model, but can be upgraded very easily. I added the camera and the better hot end to mine for less than 50 dollars.

• The k1 i got had updated extruder (machined tensioner, blue ptfe clip, but not the latest white one) and an old extruder (black sock, uninsulated thermistor). The k1max had upgraded extruder and hotend (red sock).
