  • QuestionDoes it come with all the cables you need for it?

    • Answer No cables are included with this SSD. The drive does come with an optional spacer that might be needed depending upon the thickness of the 2.5 in mechanical drive that is being replaced. The SSD circuitry is sealed in a case that is the same size as a regular 2.5 in mechanical hard drive. It simply plugs directly into the existing stationary SATA/power connector (or SATA cable and power cable) on your computer.

    • Answer Not in the package, but you can download a copy of ( Crucial SSD specific ) Acronis software from the [support] section of the Crucial.com website to use for cloning. will also need a Startech USB -> SATA cable, if you are installing into a laptop / computer that doesn't have (2) SATA ports on the motherboard.
