- Answer yes, it comes with a recipe book which has a gluten-free section. There are also recipes online that can be used on this machine.

- Answer Yes, they're horizontal, and the pan comes off easily for cleaning, which is a breeze. I haven't had to remove the fixed cover, so I don't know how that would be like. Only issue is that the mixing paddle constantly gets stuck inside the loaf bottom and has to be cut out, although I suspect it's because I only use the rapid rise function. I LOVE my bread machine!

- Answer Not sure if it's steel but its metal and the inside has a nonstick coating. The bread slides right out.

QuestionWe just recieved the bread maker and i can not remove the bread pan. I believe it is stuck inside. No matter how much force i put it does not move. Did anyone else had that problem?

- Answer You have to turn the pan counter-clockwise until it clicks (about 1/8th turn), then lift up. This is not mentioned in the directions anywhere though.

- Answer It definitely has a non-stick coating. However, i don't know what material was used to make it non-stick.
