With the rack in the bottom groove, you've got about 4 1/2" to the 'ceiling.' Using the basket rack that comes with the oven, you'll add another inch of room. Calrod oven which is stainless steel inside and out. We just cooked a frozen 12" DiGiorno pizza and it fit perfectly on the rack lined with foil. We have parrots so finding one without the non stick coating on inside was a many hours search. This one lives up to its description and I highly recommend.
