How can a $2000 computer NOT include a cd/dvd drive? null

Because the majority of the money goes to graphics and other softwear including how much data you can hold. Also the liquid cooling. The other reasons include: A CD/DVD drive is fairly easy to get and attach when you don't have it. And most gamers anymore don't use that many CD's. Most games are downloads, not CD/DVD (Examples: Steam, Origin, MMORPG's)

The case used for this model doesn't have support for an internal CD/DVD drive. The majority of games/software are now downloadable and an external CD/DVD drive can be used if a CD does need to be used with the system. Please feel free to call us if you have any other questions at 800.707.0393.
