Q: Is this windows 10 home or pro ? ...and if home can it be upgraded to pro and for how much ?

A: This has Windows 10 home 64 Bit. It's not clear if it can be upgraded to Pro.

Q: How can a $2000 computer NOT include a cd/dvd drive?

A: Because the majority of the money goes to graphics and other softwear including how much data you can hold. Also the liquid cooling. The other reasons include: A CD/DVD drive is fairly easy to get and attach when you don't have it. And most gamers anymore don't use that many CD's. Most games are downloads, not CD/DVD (Examples: Steam, Origin, MMORPG's)
