  • QuestionHow big is the SSD?

    Asked by Brian.

    • Answer Technically, there is no SSD. Rather, there is a 16GB Intel Optane device that acts as a fast cache rather than as a separately addressable hard drive or SSD. The Optane device occupies the one and only M.2 slot on the motherboard. Thus, if you want to add a large, fast SSD you either have to remove the Optane device and replace it with an M.2 SSD, or you can install a slower SATA SSD and continue to use the Optane device as a fast cache which works quite well (this is what I did).

  • QuestionDoes this support VR gaming? And if not can it be upgraded to support VR

    Asked by Kidchameleon.

    • Answer Yes, the GTX 1080ti is the fastest consumer gaming graphics card currently available. The system includes HDMI output and plenty of USB3 interfaces. The i7-8700K is also plenty fast to support VR.
