• yes there is a power cord but I still could not get it to turn on, I had to take into the geeks to get power and then spend 60.00 more for Wi-Fi adaptor to get the Wi-Fi

• yes, there is a power cord included. As far as adding onto the computer it has a removable side panel and you can pretty much add what you need from there. Be sure to make sure that whatever you add is compatible with what is already installed and that there is a "slot" for it.
