The ddr4 ram is going to be a newer type of ram. Will run faster at the same gb as the dd4.

The 5751408 model is in a smaller chassis, which does not have an optical drive and has less room for future expansion, whereas this particular model does have the optical and a larger chassis for future expansion. Both machines will serve you excellently, it will just come down to whether you need an optical and want a larger chassis. Thank you,
