• Yes, you can view your camera on your smartphone. You have to get the mydlink lite for it to work.

• yes, I used easy cam pro. but there are other cam software that is compatible.

• Yes, you have to download the camera software (hardware I don't know correct term) from dlink website. Unzip the files. Then initiate the run folder, it walks you through setting up a username and password for your camera. Once you have log in in f oration you download the app and enter it in. The app is free
