• Silent. There is only a single slight click when it switches from day to night vision.

• Keep in mind that the camera itself is not recording. The video is being recorded remotely by your computer or whatever other service you are using. The camera makes no sound, but there is a green light on the front of the camera that is visible.

• no sound. I installed mine in a corner outside my front door and most people do not know its there...

• No noise, but there is a green light on the back that is noticeable during the day.
