Hopefully this partial answer will help. There is a program called "D-View Cam" available for free from D-Link. If you have a computer on the same LAN as the camera(s) you can set them to record as desired and the video is stored on the local computer. There is no fee for this. I have seen, but do not personally have, a recorder offered by D-Link that does the same thing. I believe that that service is without any recurring fees. There are third party programs that offer recording and remote viewing. I have not information on them however.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.good questions.well dlink does offer cloud services but you can buy your own cloud that will store and let you acess your pics.you can find 1 on best buys site.just type dlink cloud.and on the settings I recomend motione detector setting.every time motion is detected it takes a pic so even if someone is in front of it for a few moments it will activate the motion sensor to take r pics as long as someone or a pet is in range of the motion detector.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.you can set it up to record to your PC computer by downloading a program on their website. you cannot set it up to record on your phone. you only need to pay for the camera, nothing else. if you have a mac I believe there is a way to set it up to record, you would just have to call their customer service.
