The only way she can connect her camera to your router is if there is enough range for her camera to receive signal. To test this out, D-Link suggests two possible things. 1. Reset your camera and try to install it in your neighbors house. If it receives signal from your router, then it will work. 2. You can also try to see if you can receive signal from a wireless device at your neighbors house. If you get a strong signal, the camera should also be able to connect wirelessly.
