- Answer The wireless comes from the device. You will need local wireless ability on your other devices such as smart phones and laptops. You will need to attach the wireless device to a cable modem or other internet service provider. Local wireless (802.xx) is different and distinct from cell wireless. Best regards, Minnesota Mike

QuestionCan the D-Link Cloud be used as a bridge. Have four computer on a wireless network using a D-Link AC1900 Router. Want to connect them to a printer and a scanner neither of which are wireless. Hard wiring the printer and scanner is not practical.

- Answer Yes, I believe it can, But in my setup I configured the modem to act in bridge mode and let the router handle all the other chores like DHCP and so on. You might want to check with D_Link presales support to be sure.
