Thank you for your feedback and questions. Please note, that currently we do not have an app that is compatible and made for the kindle fire. You are however, able to download and register for the mydlink application in which you would be able to register each D-Link camera and add it to your mydlink accnt and login and view the cameras via that application from anywhere you have a computer with internet access and your cameras are connected to via an accessible network either wired or wireless that is tethered to the internet. Thank you for choosing D-Link.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Doesn't Kindle Fire use the Android OS? If so, it may work with the camera. My Android devices, phone and tablet, work great using an app called "IP Camera Viewer."
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You can view the camera feed from a computer, tablet and smart phone. I use an iMac & iPad. As long as you have reliable wireless internet both places, it will work fine. I don't know if there is an app for the Kindle Fire but you could search for a DLink app and see if you can find one.

You don't need an app, although apps are available. you can just go to the dlink web page and register your user name and password and access the camera from there.
