“Can the camera connect to my home internet wirelessly or MUST it be plugged into a router?”

• To set it up, you need to plug it into the router you will be using. Then, after set-up, you can move it anywhere within wifi range.

• The camera hooks up wirelessly and if you have a secure wireless router it also has the option to link to the router secure. Mine runs perfectly wireless from about 30Ft from the router. I am running 30MBPS and 3MBPS which is super fast I cannot account for slower wifi speeds.

• This camera can connect wirelessly. Set-up requires that you initially have it plugged into the router, but then switch to wireless connection.

• You can connect via wireless, but initial setup is easier with a wired connection.
