“can this be used with a conversion kit to be put in an apartment without an existing hook up? i am looking for a washer that i can hook up to a conversion kit to put on my existing plumbing in my apartment without a washer hook up. is this one compatible and if so is there a conversion kit sold at best buy that can work with it??”

It comes with an adapter to hook to a standard faucet. It doesn't work with my cheapie kitchen sink faucet, but considering the length of the drain hose it really fits better in the bathroom anyway.

Best place to find the answer to your question is Home Depot. I got this product from Best Buy, am very happy with it but found that any questions regarding it need to be answered at Home Depot. They seem to have answers. And at Best Buy I ordered it away from the store and had it shipped to me. I didn't really plan on them for too many answers.
