Questioncan this be used with a conversion kit to be put in an apartment without an existing hook up?i am looking for a washer that i can hook up to a conversion kit to put on my existing plumbing in my apartment without a washer hook up. is this one compatible and if so is there a conversion kit sold at best buy that can work with it??

- Answer For complete instructions on how to hook up this unit to a water supply, please visit www.danby.com to view the owner's manual. Water supply faucets must fit standard 3/4 inch (19.05mm) female garden hose couplings. Do not use slip-on or clamp-on connections.

QuestionIs it possible to get a longer drain hose?Mine barely reaches into the sink and I have to keep it held down with a cast iron pan.... A longer hose would be very helpful and much appreciated.

- Answer I tied a rubber band around my fill hose and put my drain hose through it to help keep it in place. Keeps it from flying out when it starts to drain. Doesn't keep the kid from pulling it out unfortunately.

QuestionI am considering buying this Danby portable washer. Have read a few reviews. Cannot locate anywhere that says how long the rinse cycle hose is. Can anyone please reply and give me a length to go by?thanks.

- Answer Hello Jack, the rinse cycle at the end of any complete cycle is 6 minutes. The unit will fill with water, agitate for 4 minutes and drain for 2 minutes.
