    • Answer Hi JC, Thank you for your inquiry. Danby DPA060B1WDB is a self evaporating unit. All collected water when running the unit on Cool and Auto modes are being recycled to help cool down the unit. Water drain hose is only recommended to be connected when running the unit on Dry mode. Exhaust hose is needed to vent out the used warm air as it runs. Thank you. Regards, Jerlyn
