QuestionAm I correct in thinking that this camera can be connected directly to a TV/monitor and it is always on, and not motion detector only? Is this only available on line or can it be purchased in store?

- Answer Hello Dana, thanks for your interest in Defender! This camera requires a DVR in order to be viewed on a television or monitor. Motion detection is an option available during set up of the unit along with live viewing. At this time, this product is only available online.

QuestionAm I right in understanding that the camera would be connected to my phone and there would be continuous recording stored in the cloud? No equipment needed except the camera and a cell phone? How long are the recordings kept before looping and erasing.

- Answer Thank you for your question J. This camera cannot stream or record on it's own. It would require a DVR, models HD1T4, HD1T8, or HD2T16.
