• This monitor does not have speakers. You have to buy external speakers.

• There are no speakers built into this monitor. You have to use external speakers connected to the PC.

• I assume you have your monitor connected to a pc. There will be audio outputs on the back of the computer where you can plug in head phones or speakers; the output is usually color coded green. Also this monitor has no built in speakers, so you'll need headphones or speakers.

• this is what i read on reviews hope it helps You will have to purchase the Dell sound bar for your monitor to produce sound.
