Q: QuestionIs it a good laptop to get for college? or should i get a step down?

• A:Answer In my opinion, yes. But it depends what you want to do with it. I'm getting this for college because I will be running CAD programs such as Solidworks and Autodesk. But it will also be my gaming PC as well. So, its a matter of finding the perfect balance between price, performance and what you want to do. If all you want to do is browse the web, watch YouTube and type papers, this is not the computer for you. But if you are like me, then yes.

• A:Answer The headphones I use have a Mic built into them, I just plug in my headphones/Mic and both work just fine. But if you want to use a separate headphone and Mic set, you might need to opt for a USB mic.

• A:Answer Yes, the Dell website has the IPS but I am curious as to whether the ones sold at Best Buy have the IPS display or the TN. I want to know if they are selling the old ones with the bad TN display or have the new ones with the IPS as I think Dell should be shipping them now with IPS displays.
