In my opinion, yes. But it depends what you want to do with it. I'm getting this for college because I will be running CAD programs such as Solidworks and Autodesk. But it will also be my gaming PC as well. So, its a matter of finding the perfect balance between price, performance and what you want to do. If all you want to do is browse the web, watch YouTube and type papers, this is not the computer for you. But if you are like me, then yes.
