The main difference seems to be that the one with 2400 megahertz comes with Windows 10 S Mode. Windows 10 in S mode is a version of Windows 10 that runs only apps from the Microsoft Store. If you purchase the one in S Mode, you could turn it off but the megahertz would drop. I purchased the one not in S Mode as I knew I prefer Chrome to Edge (the only internet available in S Mode). I had other issues with the computer and am returning it so I don't have an opinion of the speed without S Mode.
