This system's hardware does not meet the requirements for gaming. If you're using this only to download and store games, in terms of storage this will be able to help you. However, you can look at the Dell G-series and Alienware which are specifically designed for gaming.

It depends on the games you are planning on playing. Games really don't come down to storage, as the determining factor. The fact this machine has both a 1TB standard (aluminum platter) hard drive as well as a small, but capable, SSD drive gives this unit plenty of storage. The processor on this machine is good for many games, like Minecraft, but will probably struggle with games like Fortnite and Apex legends. Likewise the video card in this unit really isn't meant for serious gaming, but again will work with older games and those not requiring Nvidia/ATI gaming card performance.
