A:Answer Mine came with a 256 GB NVMe M.2 PCIe 3.0 SSD, not a SATA SSD. It's a bit of a tricky beastie, as it only uses two of the four PCIe lanes, limiting its max transfer rate to half the theoretical 4-lane value. And, that SSD's length is so short it comes attached to a metal "extender" to fit the laptop's 2280-length mount.
