A:Answer My experience with Best Buy in the past year has been quite negative. The sales people are sweet and smiling when your checkbook is out but when you have problems, Best Buy does not want to know you! I bought a 55" TV last October because I am now disabled and the sales guy talked me out of the Samsung I wanted and I had nothing but trouble with the TV. It took me many phone calls before BB sent someone out and the repair guy spent almost 2 hours repairing the brand new TV. He told me that he had to basically replace the entire guts of the TV. Then, I dropped my laptop and ruined it so I went to the same store and bought a new laptop. Once again, a sweet and smiling salesman talked me out of another 12" Dell and sold me an "open box" 17" Dell. Interestingly, he never demonstrated it. When I went to pick it up tonight. the salesman was very disinterested and offered no demonstration- I had to ask him to put it into the box. I got it home and plugged it in and NOTHING. Now, I have to return it to the store and get a new laptop. Driving for me is more difficult now and this is strike number 2 for BB. They have become a very shady operation, for sure. Thanks for pointing out what you did!
