Yes, I replaced mine immediately. Removed all screws from the bottom, and it was a little sketchy pulling off the bottom because the plastic is clipped in (would be easy to snap something off). You can see the HD enclosure, easy to take out. I used the Samsung Migration utility and put in an SSD - it is obviously much faster, but I was surprised with the decent performance of the 1TB HD.

Please try again later.Hello, I think the Windows 10 OS is partially to blame for the performance issue. i noticed the performance slowing down on my other desktop PC that also has 8 GB RAM . I noticed a similar slow effect on my new laptop here. I upgraded windows 10 to the PRO edition for some improved performance, I think. Also it was slower during the initial install/run and improved over time after use.
