• I have not expanded it myself but the employee at the store I bought mine said it is expandable.

• yes computer has a 2nd memory slot,you need to remove small cover behind stand then remove 2 screws for stand that will allow you to remove whole back cover ,carefully unsnap cover starting in rear bottom corner
