You will want to upgrade the memory to the full 16 GB of Ram. This will work well for editing video and audio and will encode much faster than others. Though note that the display itself is lower quality compared to higher end machines. If color quality or need for IPS monitor is important this is not the laptop you want but to get the job done this will work.

It all depends on your needs, I would say it is but I don't know what your editing. It only has 6 GB of RAM but it does have the latest processor. Processor speed may or may not be efficient. The screen is clear, crisp and large. It has 1 TB of hard drive space.
