Windows home is limited by the fact it can only have 16GB of RAM. Also, in the corporate world, pro has enterprise mode in IE, group policies,and a few extra software products like remote desktop, bitlocker, etc...

With Windows 8 and Windows 10, Windows Home supports 128 GB while Windows 8 Professional supports 512 GB and Windows 10 Pro supports 2 TB (2048 GB). I got this information from an msdn article by googling "memory limits for windows 10".
