• If your question pertains to copying your personal documents from a XP computer to a Windows 10 computer then you can copy them to DVD discs, USB sticks or an external hard drive then copy them to the new computer. I would recommend USB sticks. Prices are now very reasonable. Watch for sales at Best Buy.. I picked up a few at really good prices.

• Use a USB 3.0 flash drive. You should have files on another media at all times, especially if you can't afford to loose important documents or photos.

• easiest way would be to just transfer eveything to a flash drive
