You're going to have a very difficult time upgrading to a 1080. Several things on this machine will keep you from doing it - the primary one being the physical size of the tower; the GPU is probably too big to fit. The second issue is the power supply. The power supply is built into the case, not a separate/replaceable one, and it's a meager 240WT. You're going to need a bigger case & a more "powerful" power supply to upgrade to the 1080. I haven't purchased it yet, but I'm considering the single fan 1050ti. It's not as powerful as the 1080, sure; but it should get the job done for most games. It's half the price & would fit in this machine (according to the folks at Dell).
