• A:Answer Hello John! I did the same thing and realized afterwards that I couldn't connect to my 5G wifi network. My router is downstairs and my desktop computer is in the loft upstairs. I purchased this NETGEAR - Nighthawk AC1900 Dual-Band WiFi USB 3.0 Adapter and now getting up to 200mbps connected to my 5G wifi network, I haven't had any fluctuation and my wifi connection has been consistent! I hope this helps and saves you some time with trying to find the best wifi adapter!

Q: QuestionDoes this model has a toggle switch to allow it operate on 110 and 220 volts? Will this model work in India where there is 220 volts with out involvement of adapter/converter?

• A:Answer I don't think they do toggle switches any longer, it is all automatic. You will, however, need to get a power cord in your destination country that fits the electric outlets in the wall, or use an adapter.
