The systems that you see on this site are also sold or were sold at one time on Dell.com. If you see systems on this site that are not on Dell.com currently, we might have stopped selling them or sometimes we have seasonal units that are only up for a short time on Dell and can be available on Best Buy for a bit longer.     • Answer Hello April, Yes, this laptop has the ability to communicate via both Wi-Fi and/or WiMax. Wi-Fi is the standard that most people use to connect at home, work and wireless hotspots like your college. WiMax is basically a high-speed cellular connection to the internet, that you pay a monthly fee for, which allows you to connect anywhere that a cell phone has coverage.     • Answer Hello, Luckily, the new USB 3.0 was designed to be backwards compatible with USB 2.0 ports and connectors. If the component you are using is designed for USB 2.0, it will fit and work in the USB 3.0 port, but the component can only function at USB 2.0 speeds. You would need a USB 3.0 certified component, combined with a USB 3.0 port, to work at full USB 3.0 speeds. Hope this helps, JonathanNforDell

    • Answer Hello, As it turns out, the Intel HD 3000 GPU is integrated onto the chipset and cannot be upgraded. It is a great integrated GPU but I understand your desire to have the strongest graphics ability.   • QuestionHow well does the pc stay cool to the touch?I'm planning on using my laptop alot and one of the criteria besides performance is the cooling system on the laptop and how well it stays cool. If it doesn't heat up excessively even when its on my lap thats what I would like. So if somebody could give me a little info on this that would be great. The reviews were not all that helpful.     • Answer I usually leave my Dell on all day Saturday and Sunday. At any point in the day I am able to pick it up and place it in my lap without being too hot. I would say at most it gets warm.
