• Yes, the Dell controllers are compatible. In fact, the picture shows my Dell controllers with the HP developer headset.

• No, they are not compatible with HP developer edition. I purchased the Dell kit (headset and controllers) and I could NOT use the controllers with the HP set. I purchased the Acer kit (headset and controllers) and I could NOT use the controllers with the HP set. I purchased the HP kit (headset and controllers) and I could use the controllers with the HP developer edition. If you have better luck please let me know.
