Hello, I bought the my xps 2 days ago. I am really concern about the cooling system because it is way too warm. Compare to my friend MacBook Air, it's Much warmer. Does anybody feel the laptop too warm? Even when It is just on charge Or in light use... null

I noticed the same thing especially on my lap. However it didn't get hot at all watching Netflix which is an extended use.

I found it to be hot while installing all of the driver updates, but it has been cool since. Make sure to install all of the driver updates. There are a lot of them.

Yeh think that's normal if your laptop get warm as long is not getting to hot... i got Dell xps Model: XPS9365 & it get warm too..but it still work fine

Mildly warm but not hot. Still comfortable in my lap surfing or watching a movie. Sounds like there may be a problem with yours

mine gets a little warm, but not too hot. I think its pretty safe and i don't fear it getting too hot that it will burn itself out. However, I haven't had mine running super intensive processes for long periods of time.
