I noticed the same thing especially on my lap. However it didn't get hot at all watching Netflix which is an extended use.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.mine gets a little warm, but not too hot. I think its pretty safe and i don't fear it getting too hot that it will burn itself out. However, I haven't had mine running super intensive processes for long periods of time.
