Yes. I don't know if a tv exists that has the technology buult in. You usually need a powered USB port off back of monitor and video port (like hdmi) available on tv. The technology Microsoft uses is miracast or something like that. Best Buy sells the adapter you plug into the tv - usually near the surface. Chrome cast is another implementation of the technology. Apple works uses airplay (on Apple TV device).
