150 watt speakers is likely the max power rating for what the speaker can handle. I'm pushing 4, 400 watt klipsch, and 4 ,100watt klipsch for a Dolby atmos setup no problem. Less than half way up and I can barely handle it. This receiver is tricky as there are loads and loads of settings to play with. I spent about 3 weeks diligently adjusting each sound setting (surround, stereo, multi channel stereo, dtx etc) so that whenever I switch sound modes it's to my liking. Patience is key. Best bang for your buck in my opinion! Happy listening
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Speakers with 150 watt rating refers to power rating. The receiver will work with these speakers assuming impedance match between speakers and receiver and corresponding configuration on the latter . For example, if your speakers are 4 ohm speakers then you'll need to configure the receiver for them.
