• Yes. My nvidia shield will turn the receiver in and off.

• ...I can’t seem to get my Firestick to wake the receiver up. I have turned on the CEC ARC settings so I am not sure why this will not work. I also tried hooking up my DirecTV to turn unit on as well (which used to work on my old SONY receiver) and it will not work.
