• A:Answer The Bluetooth Transmit range is only good to about 35 feet and you can only connect to one Bluetooth speaker. You can use HEOS / Denon Home speakers on the deck as long as the speakers will be sheltered from the weather. The HEOS / Denon Home speakers can be Grouped to the AVR over your network (LAN) for audio playback.

Q: QuestionHello, my Samsung tv has 2 HDMI ports,no audio jacks. I have one for the cable and the other for a firestick. All i want is the audio through the receiver for surround sound. CanI hook up the optical cable only for sound? Any help would be appreciated.

• A:Answer Yes, the AVR supports both the 2.4 and 5 GHz bands for WiFi. The Bluetooth compatibility will depend mainly on the turntable and if it complies with Bluetooth standards. The AVR supports 2.4 GHz for the Bluetooth frequency, supports Bluetooth version 3.0 + EDR and supports Bluetooth profiles A2DP 1.2 and AVRCP 1.5.

• A:Answer It definitely has the possibility of being wired to the speakers. Check the product photos. There are rows of stereo pairs of speaker connectors on the back. You can use banana plugs if you prefer, or stick the ends of the speaker wires into the wiring posts.

• A:Answer The amp supports phono natively, no pre amp required. The radio is built right in. The amp supports two RCA inputs, i.e. one CD player and one tape player. A pair of 8 ohm speakers will be supported without any setting changes. If the automatic calibration does not sound right to you, don't be afraid to play with the equalizer to get the sound right.

Q: QuestionJust got a Oppo BDP-93 which has built in DAC. Doe this Denon have a DAC? I understand if both are set to convert the sound will not be optimal. Is there a way to turn off? Interested in HDCD CD playback.

• A:Answer Hello and thank you for your question. The Denon AVR-S650H does have a DAC. If wanting to use the Oppo DAC, simply connect the Oppo to the receiver via RCA analog. This will allow the Oppo to do the Digital to Analog conversion.
