You want the component output to connect to the input tv? You have to looking for the inputs connections on the tv and choose the component options to get that connection no matter what imput you have the blu-ray. But if you want to get the better picture and sound quality use only HDMI connections. And use a good HDMI cable with a high speed 18,21 gbs or more. I hope this help you.
