• I have the extended battery pack and like the build, fit, and finish... The pack slides into the usb plug / port and encloses the camera battery compartment... It states "waterproof" but I will not be chancing submersion... Water resistant = OK In my humble and un-technical opinion, while the action pack affords great extended battery opportunities, I DO NOT think an "external" microphone is a viable option...
